Elizabeth Schroth, MA, BCC, LCPC
Elizabeth Schroth, MA, BCC, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland, a counselor in residence in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Liz has also completed the coursework for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University.
Working from a humanistic and interpersonal perspective, Liz tailors each session to the needs of her clients and offers a deep respect for each person’s unique inner wisdom. She believes that an authentic and mutual connection in relationships is necessary for growth and change. She works collaboratively with clients and fosters a nurturing, challenging, and open space in which change, healing, and growth may occur.
Working in the mental health field since 2007, Liz’s areas of specialty include: personal growth and development, mood and anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, individual therapy, and couples therapy. Liz enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Liz grew up with neurofeedback since her mother is a neurotherapist. This early exposure to the field gave her an appreciation of the therapeutic value of neurofeedback. She has been professionally involved in neurotherapy since 2010 and now has a small private practice in Olney, Maryland.
